Who wants to see a kitten?

You do! Yes!

Hello. I'm Izzy.

This is Izzy. She's eight weeks old, and if I do say so myself, she is the best cat in the universe.

I mean, look:

Izzy, approximately five minutes after adoption

Five minutes after we tore her from her mother's arms (okay: put her in a cat carrier while her mother watched in disinterest), she was asleep on my lap. I've never seen a kitten so mellow. You can pick her up while she's right in the middle of gutting a cat toy, and she'll immediately go limp in your arms and purr loudly enough to wake the neighbors.

You want her. Don't deny it. You're embarrassing yourself. But it's too late. She is mine.

Wuzza wuzza kitty playing.

I mean, ours. She's ours. Is what I meant.

I do so like black cats, and that is one fine looking kitten!

She is really cute! Congrats!

Just wait until she starts jumping at imaginary things high up on the walls. It's hysterical!

She is cute, just not as cute as my Marcy - then again, she probably doesn't crap all over the floor.

Oh yeah, just wait for that. Aren't they just little balls of precious, noxious joy?

I made my husband look, and we are now both jonesing for a kitty. We had to give ours away a couple of years ago, and he had a happy life until becoming a dingo snack. We're buying a house this month, and I don't think it will feel like a home until we get another kitty. Or two.

Man, dingos are always taking the heat.

Has she tried to bathe you by licking your hand with her teeny, scratchy little tongue? I always thought that was so cute when my kitties did that.

OK, yes, you're right. I DO WANT HER. However, none of my other nine cats want her, and majority rules. So you get to keep her. Enjoy!!

Oh! Little black kitties are the best! And the most naughty. I have sisters from the same litter, one grey and one black. The grey one is pretty much like a loyal puppy dog with her desire to please us and the way she romps over at lightning speed when called. But Poppy (the black one) is a true stinker - knocking pictures off the wall, chewing on the blinds, jumping from the top of the TV to the bookcases and back down again about 1000 times a night, meowing non-stop every morning at 6AM. But there is something about that mischievous personality that makes me love her SO MUCH. And she does purr the second I pick her up. How gratifying is that?

Oh, I had a little black kitty! So soft and sweet.

Alas, the screams of my child caused her to run far, far away. Well, into my neighbor's yard. A neighbor who then decided that the cat belonged to her, and had "forever" belonged to her.

Adorable, reminds me of when my Izzie was a kitten, lol.

They look exactly the same..http://theinsideofmylife.com/2005/08/25/murder-averted-i-repeat-the-murder-has-been-averted/

Cuuuuute!! I want another kitten so bad, but one is enough for our apartment. Kittens are so fun!
May 14, 2007 | Unregistered CommenterMelanie
No, she's not yours; you're hers. Once you understand that, life will be easier. My ex and I had a little black rescue kitty. He was her person, but she allowed him to keep me around. Every so often, she'd suddenly start racing around the apartment, playing tag with unseen friends or enemies. That's how she acquired the nickname Spasticat! Very entertaining to watch.

We kept Cassandra until my allergist served an eviction notice (a girl's gotta breathe). I'm jealous - Izzy's absolutely adorable!

Squeeee! She's adorable. Kittens are delicious! And I mean that in a non-eating-kittens way. More of a bury-my-nose-in-her-belleh way.

How cute! This soooo makes me want a new kitty.

I keep staring at that fuzzy face and imagining the purr...mmm...

BTW, technically, it wasn't a dingo, it was a mountain lion. It took about a dozen kitties and doggies before they caught it. It's less depressing to tell people the dingo ate our kitty.
