Isn't this how everyone spends their Sunday afternoons?

Your typical Sunday afternoon crazy dancing. from Alice Bradley on Vimeo.

He was dancing for a full ten minutes before I realized I should go get the camera.

I guarantee that if you have a small child, they will find this video to be the pinnacle of hilarity. Get yourself a small child, and find out for yourself!

Wasn't he using the melody from West Side Story's Cool?

Certainly apt lyrics:

I am laughing so hard as I type this. I think you made me wake up my kid, as I burst out laughing SO LOUD when he did that turn-around-and-freeze-for-a-moment-while-looking-at-the-camera thing.

He is also ridiculously beautiful. My word! Those red lips!!!! Are they really that color or had he just eaten a cherry lollipop? (That might explain the crazy, dancing, too.)

THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!!!!

My almost-5 year old thought this was hilarious, especially when Henry was right up in the camera - and is now delighting me with his own crazy dance! LOL

This is the fifth time I've come back to watch this.

It could replace Prozac.

I am the small child who finds this hilarious. I need not wake my toddler. I am plenty toddler enough.

For a long time I wanted to write and perform my own solo show, but the dang writing seemed so daunting. Now I see that I only need to rent a space, sell tickets and show up. Welcome, everybody!

...pa...pow! Buh-lubba, buh-lubba, buhlubba-lubba-lubba(crash)(I'm okay!)Mameena meena MONNA! Ba deeda deeda DODDA!

etc.

Solid gold. Thank you, Henry. The dream is alive.

The toddler was perplexed, and the tween laughed very hard. Accordingly, young Henry gets an 8.5 today.

Why, this is what *I* was doing this past Sunday! And I'm almost 32!

All right, that's not true. But it has totally happened, although I usually have disco playing. I'm not as good as Henry, getting the mojo out of my own head.

He's utterly fantastic. I loved it.

My kids just watched the whole thing.

Thalia says, "Can he do a different one?"

Well my 2 boys saw it, fell about laughing, copied him and then asked to see "more Henry"! Classic!

I used to read your blog some three years ago and was so impressed with your writing that I couldn't shut up about you. Well, having been away for a while, I'm pleased to find upon my return that Henry has grown up seemingly happily and healthily and that he's obviously got quite an intellect as well as people around him who stimulate that intellect.

Really cool.

i wish my family had a video camera when i grew up (we talked about that at the dinner table tonight)either way, seconds 50-60 made my day.

your son is sooo cool!(and seeing as i am a 21 year old, that means he is like.... teenager/child something cool. not adult cool. )

I'm not even a small child and found it friggin' hilarious. I did get a small child from upstairs and he agreed.
