I get this all the time.

Henry: I love you so much. I'm going to eat you up. (Commences eating noises.) I ate you up.

Me: Thanks. What did I taste like?

Henry: You tasted like brown...furry... balls.

How adorable. Henry is just too cute.

My 20 month old doesn't talk much. But the cutest thing he's said to me is "Awwww..." as he hugged me. He hit me in the nose and I pretended to cry. So he caressed my hair and said, "Awwwww....."

I love it. How could I be mad after that?

Oh. My. Dear. Lord. So unsavory, yet so heartwarming! I want to take a shower, or hug you and your child. One or the other.

Brown furry balls, sweaty goat balls...I see a pattern here. Clearly, mama bloggers got balls!

Thanks for all your wonderful posts. Always a pleasure.

I just want you to know that I've been thinking and laughing about this all fucking weekend. I don't know whether to thank you, or slap you, or slap myself. HA!

The things that come out of their mouths as we parents know so well! I've documented in my blog for safekeeping and also to show them what came out of their mouths when they're about to walk down the aisle.

There is a business near where we live that, I kid you not, is called "Chewy Balls." I have a 7th grade sense of humor, I know, but I can't help but giggle everytime we drive by...because PLEASE did no one think of a better name than THAT?

Not chicken? Well, I guess my next question would be, how does he know what brown furry balls taste like? Very funny!

I think it's association encoding:brown = warm, earthy, sweetballs = curvy, round shapefurry = hmmm, you've got some texture :)
