Due date.

Today is (was, would have been) my due date, and I'm pretty sad. I didn't think it would hit me this hard, but here it is, and it has.

I'm so sorry. Thinking of your today. Be gentle with yourself.

I'm sorry. I am glad that you can take the time to be sad, if that makes any sense.

Yes, it's a very hard day. We're coming up on the two year anniversary of my miscarriage and I can tell you it does get a little easier. Hug that little boy of yours extra tight today.

Alice, I'm feeling you, and it hurts.

I'd send you some sunshine, if I could.

Thank you for sharing your funnies as well as your heartaches. Sending warm thoughts to you, and please do something kind for yourself today, even if it's eating your favorite ice cream... the whole thing.

Totally empathize your sadness and I say wallow away. I will be thinking of you...

I know everyone has said it, but I'm sorry that you feel sad. I will be thinking of you today, and I'll say a prayer for you. I really do understand how very much it utterly sucks and hurts. I'm glad you have so many people who care about you, hopefully it will help a little bit.

I'm sorry. Be proud of yourself for acknowledging it and allowing yourself to be sad. I was just thinking that you have sounded so much better lately in your posts, and I was relieved that you were on the road to feeling better. Minor setbacks are normal - you'll get there. Please keep writing - we all get our therapy through it!

Oh, Alice, I'm so sorry. I had two miscarriages this year and my due dates are approaching (they were back to back).

Thinking of you.

I'm sorry Alice. I can't fathom what this is like, not having experienced it, but I know it has been extremely hard for you. I have been glad to see some of your humor coming back in your writing, to see you starting to recover.

Hang in there, take your time, we'll be here if you need a break.

A friend of mine had lost a child a number of years ago. He would have been number 3 and the first boy, and though she went on to successfully carry another baby boy to term a couple years later, she still mourns the loss of that first baby boy every year around her due date. Don't apologize for your feelings; having empathy is one of many things that makes humans unique and your loss IS great, regardless of what some people might say. However, I do hope you feel better soon and are able to eventually replace those feelings of sadness with ones of joy.

I'm sorry. =(

I'm sorry. It is hard, isn't... and hard to explain sometimes to people that haven't been there. I've had four miscarriages in the past two years. For some of them, I saw the would-be due-date approaching, for others I didn't think of it until the date kept tugging at me and I'd remember half-way through the day, why it was a special date.

Be kind to yourself today, mourn your loss. We're all thinking of you.

I can't imagine what that must feel like. I am so sorry.

The due date really sucks.

Also, prepare yourself for the anniversary of the miscarriage. It's really rough, too.

So sorry for your loss. I can see why it's a hard day for you. For what it's worth I think it's a good thing to honor yourself and your loss by recognizing it today. Peace to you.

Take it easy on yourself today. And know that you are not alone.

Yep - same thing here just last week. It really is astonishingly awful. Sorry to hear you're experiencing that, too. Hugs to you and your family.

Alice, yesterday was the due date from my miscarriage. You are not alone, and my prayers are with you.

So sorry, Alice. I have one of those myself coming up in January. Hope you're taking care of yourself today.
