Let's Panic

The site that inspired the book!

At LET'S PANIC ABOUT BABIES, Eden Kennedy and I share our hard-won wisdom and tell you exactly what to think and feel and do, whether you're about to have a baby or already did and don't know what to do with it.

Bleach it away! Bleach it all away!

Full disclosure: I was compensated for my participation in this campaign with Clorox, and part of the deal was that I write this post. Which I am now so doing. I'm so glad we could all be on the same page.

A couple of months ago, Eden and I were asked to do a few videos for Clorox. Joining us on this adventure were blogger/force of nature M.J. Tam and Bethenny Frankel, whom you may remember as one of the Real Housewives of New York. We intended to appear on the videos in character, as it were--as our semi-insane Let's Panic About Babies personae--but, well. Sometimes we're too weird for people. It happens.

So instead there's this one video where we don't say anything and Bethenny talks because she's a professional who knows how to talk.

Then in this other one I accuse my son of being unclean, which is actually true. I was hoping to say something completely fabricated but in the end, honesty won out. As it always does, my friends. Let this be a lesson to you all.

Eden, M.J. and I got punchy while we sat under the hot lights and we giggled inappropriately and sweated through our makeup and I think we might have scared Bethenny a little bit, with our shiny foreheads and constant snickering. Still, we had fun. And I think Bethenny and I bonded. Although she won't return my calls.

Okay, I don't have her number. (HONESTY, Alice. Have you learned nothing?!)
